Taster courses – London Universities

 The annual University taster course programme is open for bookings.  University taster courses for prospective undergraduate students. Choose from over a hundred courses in multiple subject areas at numerous universities in and around London. The Taster Course Programme provides Year 12 sixth form students with a taste of what life at a university in London is like.

Taster courses – King’s College London

King’s College is offering a suite of new tasters aimed at sixth form students. Courses begin in October and run until the end of this year. The range of courses offered are extensive, and some of these are listed below:

Physiotherapy, Nutrition & Dietetics, Nursing, Geography, Religion and Theology, Psychology, English & Comparative Literature, Digital Culture.

Nestlé Academy Apprenticeships – UK locations

Level 4 CIMA Finance Higher Apprenticeship

This two-year programme is designed to expose you to a variety of roles whilst you start working towards a CIMA Diploma in Business Accounting, studying on day release at a local training centre.

Level 6 Commercial Management Degree Apprenticeship

This three-year programme will see you study for a BA (Hons.) Degree in Professional Business Practice at Sheffield Hallam University, combined with placements in a number of Nestlé’s business functions.

GCHQ

 

Two apprenticeship routes are available for students interested in cyber security, engineering, signal processing and telecoms. A two year higher level apprenticeship is available at GCHQ in Cheltenham and a three year degree apprenticeship is available in Manchester.

Moore Stephens Chartered Accountants

Level 4 accounting apprenticeships

Moore Stephens have three apprenticeship routes sitting within a number of business areas across their London, Birmingham and Reading offices. The deal is simple – you work for them full time earning a full salary and in turn they pay for you to gain a recognised professional qualification, giving you time off to attend college with your peers.

They offer three programmes, AAT, ATT and CFAB, all of which give you the opportunity to study a professional qualification, gain access to industry experts and give you real work place experience.

Moore Stephens – Apprenticeships

Moore Stephens (accounting and consulting) have three apprenticeship routes sitting within a number of business areas across their London, Birmingham and Reading offices. You work full time earning a full salary and you to gain a recognised professional qualification, giving you time off to attend college with your peers. There are three apprenticeship routes to consider:

  1. CFAB Apprenticeship

The Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) is the start of the journey to becoming an ACA chartered accountant.

  1. AAT Apprenticeship

The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is governed by the AAT itself and is a stand-alone qualification.

  1. ATT Apprenticeship

The Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) is governed by the ATT itself, and is a stand-alone qualification.

Epoc Careers organises high quality careers conferences for students.  Our next events are:
