Welcome to the Abraham Darby careers pages. We aim to offer impartial information, advice and guidance to all students in the Academy.

This starts in the early years where careers talks and sessions are held during Insight, progressing onto Work Experience placements in Years 10 and 12, then post 16 and 18 options.

Whether your child is looking at going off to College, staying in 6th Form and then onto University or an Apprenticeship; we can help with applications, supporting statements and interview preparation.

A range of careers presentations, visits and workshops will be available in the Academy, ranging from Further Education providers, Employers and Universities, who will bring lots of information and experience about the different routes to a successful career.

Mrs Chadwick, our Careers & Work Experience Coordinator will help students to plan Work Experience Placements and discuss plans for Further or Higher Education.

Mrs Hodson, our Apprenticeship Coordinator will work with students who have expressed the desire to go down the Apprenticeship route at either the end of GCSE or 6th Form.

These pages are designed to offer as much information to students and parents about the range of options available, and help with the decision making of future plans.

If you wish to discuss any of these with either Mrs Chadwick or Mrs Hodson, they can be contacted on:
